Tim Punke serves as Monument’s West Coast Managing Partner and head of the firm’s sustainability practice. His 30 years of advocacy experience includes work in all three branches of government, national political campaigns, senior executive positions in two publicly traded companies, and for most of the last 17 years, as a partner at Monument Advocacy. Tim’s corporate positions included serving as a Senior Vice President at Plum Creek, and then Weyerhaeuser. In both roles, Tim reported to the CEO, overseeing government relations, corporate communications, public affairs, sustainability and community engagement. In government, Tim served as an International Trade Advisor in the Clinton White House, Chief International Trade Counsel for the Senate Finance Committee, and as a law clerk for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell University, and a J.D. from Cornell Law School.
