Reed Middleton is a Government Relations Manager at Monument, supporting the firm’s food and agriculture clients. Growing up in the diverse agriculture of the Pacific Northwest, Reed developed a passion for the people and products that come from our agricultural systems. Reed’s engagement with agriculture and food policy began as a teaching assistant at Kansas State University, and later, as a Flinchbaugh Food and Ag Policy Fellow with Kansas Grain Sorghum and National Sorghum Producers. Prior to joining Monument, Reed managed an international agriculture research project which stretched across Ethiopia, Bangladesh, and Senegal and 8 U.S. states. The multi-country program connected researchers from the U.S. to international collaborators and worked with them to strengthen breeding programs and improve resilience in key cereal crops around the globe.
Reed holds a B.S. in Agriculture Economics and Global Food Systems Leadership from Kansas State University, and an MSc Food Economics & Marketing from the University of Reading (Reading, England).
