With over a decade of experience working for a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee, Jordan Evich has a deep understanding of Capitol Hill and a track record of advancing bipartisan legislation. Jordan served as Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler’s top aide in DC and as her assistant on the Appropriations Committee, where she is a ranking member of a subcommittee. Overseeing the congresswoman’s diverse legislative portfolio and committee policy goals, Jordan successfully led the passage of several notable bills that were signed into law related to fisheries, tribes, and maternal health. He is a skilled negotiator, developing and maintaining strong relationships with federal agencies, leadership, committee staff, and interest groups. Jordan is passionate about helping people find solutions to complex policy issues, with particular understanding of energy and water, infrastructure, natural resources, and public health. He graduated from the University of Washington and keeps strong ties in both Washington, D.C. and Washington state.
