John is CEO of Monument Advocacy, a dynamic bipartisan firm offering comprehensive government relations, strategic communications, public affairs, and digital services. He is a corporate affairs executive who specializes in crafting proactive strategies to address business and non-profit brand and reputation issues, using authentic storytelling and effective engagement with key influencers and stakeholders. Prior to joining Monument, John served as Deputy Chief of Staff during Representative Eric Cantor’s (R-VA) tenure as Republican Whip and House Majority Leader. He also founded two strategic communications and public affairs firms and held executive positions at several trade associations. He is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and served as a resident fellow at the Harvard Institute of Politics.
