Anna Nix Kumar is a Principal at Monument Advocacy and a skilled communications consultant, campaign strategist, and media spokesperson with more than 15 years’ experience in the U.S. and Australia. She advises corporations, industry associations, and not-for-profit clients on policy communications, media strategy, and public affairs campaigns, working across a variety of industries including technology, agriculture, and energy. She excels at preparing clients for Congressional testimonies and high-pressure media interactions and is an expert at distilling complex issues into understandable messaging and executable strategies. Prior to Monument, Anna was a media advisor on Republican campaigns in Maryland, Florida, Virginia, and North Dakota and in the U.S. House of Representatives. Moving to Australia, she ran campaigns for the NSW Liberal Party, overseeing successful state and federal elections and four special elections, and founded a public affairs firm counseling clients on global political and campaign trends and strategic communications. Anna is a graduate of American University in Washington, DC with a degree in Public Communication and Political Science.
