White House and Senate experience will give clients critical strategic support in today’s complex brand/reputation world
WASHINGTON – Monument Advocacy today announced Jordan Wood will join its public affairs practice as a Vice President, based in Washington, DC.
Jordan brings vast political and private sector communications expertise to the firm. His experience includes the communications offices of both Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Deb Fischer (RNeb.), and the office of then-Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
“We are thrilled to add Jordan to our team, with his experience complementing our already deep bench of communications professionals,” said Matt McAlvanah, partner and head of Monument Advocacy’s public affairs practice. “We help our clients tell their stories to a DC audience, and Jordan’s communications expertise, including speech writing, bolsters the suite of thought leadership and public affairs services Monument Advocacy already provides. His experience in the private sector, as well as the White House and Senate, adds to our bipartisan team and will deliver excellent results to our clients.”
“Jordan Wood is a talented speechwriter who helped our team communicate with the American people through some of the greatest political challenges in recent memory,” said Marc Short, former Chief of Staff to Vice President Mike Pence. “He will be a great addition to Monument Advocacy, not only because he meets merciless deadlines at all hours of the day and night, but also because he is battle tested and exhibits a terrific demeanor and strong character in the most stressful and trying of
circumstances.”
“I am thrilled to join Monument Advocacy,” said Jordan Wood. “I look forward to leveraging my experience in the public and private sector to help our clients tell their stories to the world. Monument has an impressive track record of delivering for its great roster of clients, and I am excited to work alongside this team of talented professionals on both sides of the aisle.”
