Tim understands that advocacy is ultimately about telling the right story — succinctly, consistently, and effectively. And he understands exactly what our clients need because he’s been one. As a senior vice president at Plum Creek, and then Weyerhaeuser, Tim oversaw government relations, corporate communications, public affairs, sustainability, and community engagement. Tim’s 20+ years of advocacy also includes nearly a decade of consulting – a previous stint at MPG, and as a partner at K&L Gates. In government, Tim served as an International Trade Advisor in the Clinton White House, Chief International Trade Counsel for the Senate Finance Committee, and as a law clerk for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Tim is a graduate of Cornell University and Cornell Law School. In his spare time, he does triathlons, and has completed four Ironman triathlons. Tim and his wife Lori live outside Seattle with their three kids.
