Brandon to advise clients on pressing tax and energy policy issues at the forefront of political debate
Washington, DC – Monument Advocacy today announced Brandon Audap has joined its tax practice and will bring 18 years of federal policy experience to the firm. Brandon was most recently the Director of Policy and Government Affairs at JinkoSolar and previously served as a tax adviser on the House Ways and Means Committee under then-Chairman Bill Thomas (R-CA). He also held positions at Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions and the Solar Energy Industries Association and will bring invaluable experience working at the intersection of tax and energy policy.

About Brandon
Brandon comes to Monument Advocacy with over 18 years of distinguished experience in policy and advocacy in Washington on a variety of issues in tax and energy policy. His previous work included time at the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). His work at SEIA included two extensions of the solar Investment Tax Credits (ITC) and defending the industry against tariffs. He most recently led policy for one of the largest international solar panel manufacturers. He began his career on Capitol Hill as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee tax staff under then-Chairman Bill Thomas (R-CA). He received a BA from California State Bakersfield and a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from The George Washington University. He lives in Arlington with his wife.
