Shannon McGurl is a Director of Government Relations with a primary focus on federal health policy. Shannon is an expert on prescription drug pricing and health care affordability. She also has experience across a range of health care issues, including telehealth, public and private health coverage, and mental and behavioral health.

Shannon works closely with clients and coalitions to support strategic advocacy efforts through policy research, analysis, and written materials. Her work includes a central role in Monument’s Council for Affordable Health Coverage, where she helps advance policy priorities related to affordability and access.

She holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut.
