Mark is a Principal at Monument Advocacy, where he brings more than a decade of high-level political and strategic communications experience to the firm’s Government Relations and Public Affairs practice.
Before joining Monument, Mark served as Vice President of Communications at the American Exploration & Production Council, a leading trade association representing America’s independent oil and natural gas producers.
Prior to that, Mark was Head of Communications for the 55th Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, where he led message development, media relations, and strategic communications for the Office of the Speaker. Before his tenure in McCarthy’s office, he served as Communications Director for then-Congressman (now Secretary of Transportation) Sean Duffy of Wisconsin. He also worked in the U.S. Senate as Press Secretary for Senator David Perdue.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University.
