A seasoned former top aide in the U.S. Congress, Ashley provides political and strategic policy and process analysis to clients, especially those focused on high-profile political issues and legislative strategies. Before joining Monument in 2011, she spent over 12 years on Capitol Hill working in senior positions for leading Republicans which gave her unparalleled insights into the actions of Congress at the highest levels, and a unique experience in floor strategy, decision-making and policy development. She served as the Director of Coalitions for then-House Republican Whip Roy Blunt (R-MO) as well as the Senate Republican Conference Vice Chair’s office under Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK). Prior to serving as a senior leadership staffer, she served as Chief of Staff for former Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC), a member of the Energy and Commerce and Rules Committees. A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, she is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and lives in Washington, D.C.
