Monument Advocacy Adds Mike Glymph to Food and Agriculture Practice
WASHINGTON – Monument Advocacy today announced Mike Glymph is joining the firm’s food and agriculture practice, bringing corporate and non-profit work experience to the team. Mike is a Vice President of Government Relations, based in the Washington, DC office. Prior to Monument, Mike was with Diageo and Feeding America.
“We are excited to expand the food and agriculture practice with the addition of Mike and give our clients an even more well-rounded view of the policy landscape,” said T.A. Hawks, head of the food and agriculture practice at Monument Advocacy. “With his background in both private and nonprofit organizations, as well as his broad policy knowledge, we know our clients will benefit greatly from having him on our team.”

About Mike: Mike has deep expertise in hunger issues, child nutrition, farm bill, appropriations, related tax policy, and the complex DC policy stakeholder landscape. Mike has worked with Congress, nonprofits, think tanks, and has deep ties to Administration leaders.
Prior to Monument Advocacy, he worked at Diageo, a multinational spirits and beer company, where he worked on spirits-related tax, trade, health, and retail market access legislative and regulatory issues. He began his government relations career at Feeding America, a national anti-hunger organization. He led several of Feeding America’s legislative campaigns, which resulted in the passage of additional nutrition
funding in pandemic relief and child nutrition programs legislation. In addition, he has worked on political issue-based and congressional campaigns. He is a native of Columbia, South Carolina, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Francis Marion University.
