Jordan Wood is a Vice President of Public Affairs with experience that spans across The White House, Senate, House of Representatives, and the private sector. From the most influential political leaders to CEOs, he specializes in crafting story-led narratives and content development to help shape public opinion. Prior to joining Monument, Jordan was the Associate Director of Speechwriting for Vice President Mike Pence, where he crafted speeches during the 2020 presidential campaign and the Vice President’s official duties.
Before the White House, he was a speechwriter for Senator Deb Fischer and helped communicate the Senator’s priorities on the influential Senate Armed Services and Senate Commerce Committees. Previously, Jordan was a legislative correspondent for then-Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and began his career as a staff assistant for Congressman Brett Guthrie.
Jordan’s work has been published in The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, New York Times, Fox News, Rolling Stone, Forbes, and more. Jordan earned a bachelor’s degree from Asbury University and lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two children.
